HHazirkhata

This register is for the small office.

In Bangladesh, attendance software has always meant buying a machine, calling someone to install it, and an English screen. We started from the other end.

Why

For a shop or factory of ten people, buying an attendance machine, installing it and paying for the software each year comes to about twenty-seven thousand taka in the first year alone. Yet the owner really has three questions: who did not come today, who has been late how often this month, and who is owed how much at month end. Answering those three does not need a machine — the phone already in the employee’s pocket is enough.

The rules we built by

  • Entirely in Bengali, with Bengali numerals. The register we are replacing is written in Bengali, so this one is too.
  • We do not claim what does not work. The SMS gateway is not connected yet — and that is written right on the FAQ page.
  • We do not erase evidence. Rejected punches stay in the log, because that is the part that actually matters.
  • Employee privacy. An employee sees their own attendance, their own leave, their own payslip — never a colleague's.
  • Aligned with the law. The leave types and register columns follow the Labour Act 2006 and the Rules 2015.
